Support built around what Black women actually carry:
Empowerment Counseling
We know that gendered racial discrimination can profoundly impact how women see themselves, their worth, and what they believe is possible for their lives. As a Black woman with multiple marginalized identities, Jerisha understands firsthand how repeated experiences of discrimination and gendered racial microaggressions can shape our self-concept and become internalized over time.
With this understanding, Empowerment Counseling is foundational to creating a space where women can examine and challenge the messages that have shaped the lens through which they see themselves. Counseling women toward empowerment supports the cultivation of self-assuredness, self-advocacy, healthy boundaries, and a stronger connection to one's authentic voice.
This work is about more than coping with societal messaging โ it is about helping women reclaim their narratives, recognize their inherent worth, and move through the world with greater agency, confidence, and self-trust.
